Good morning, all



           I re-installed SuSE 9.3 64-bit on my server as well as Oracle10g
Release 1 64-bit.  It seems to be running fine on the server.  I already had
the 10g client on my laptop and before the re-install was able to connect to
the database with no problem.  Now I get this error:



ORA-12170 (See ORA-12170.ora-code.com): TNS: Connect timeout occurred



when trying to use the Net Configuration Assistant.  I am able to ping the
server but obviously tnsping does not work.  I know I am missing something
as I had no problems before.  Can someone please help?
